Strong Start to 2010 - Encouraging Bookings with Reconditioned Placement Machines
2009 saw growth in reconditioned placement machines. With difficult
financial times perhaps the cost of NEW was not an option.
So far 2010 has been a strong start in this sector with an average of
1 placement machine booking per month.
We aim to provide quality reconditioned machines and SMT Lines, not
just with a "Used" Label but machines offering reliability,
long warranty packages and exceptional performance.
At DNA Automation we have the facility to respray and provide a complete matching line.
NEW Unit Move - Bigger & Better
Continued commitment to support our growing customer base has menat
we are running out of space for all our spare parts.
Being a service/support driven company we aim to stock as many parts as possible to best serve our customers in the unfortunate event of breakdowns.
With over £50k worth of parts in stock and more coming in all the time the sensible choice, despite the current climate was to move into a larger unit to house all the parts. Fingers crossed all will go smoothly at the end of September.
DNA Invest in NEW Van
Due to continued growth, despite 2009 being a hard year for all we have
continued to grow. As well as our excellent portfolio of NEW equipment,
we have seen more and more sales of our reconditioned equipment, offering
Quality Products with Warranty.
For this reason we have invested in a bigger and better van. Having the van has meant we keep control over the delivery part for our machines. After weeks of overhaul, testing and poweder coating the last thing we would want is for them to be damaged on their final trip to the customer.br>
DNA Automation Ltd can also assist with small factory moves, or removal of old unwanted machinery otherwise just taking up floor space.

ASK Technology Ltd. Take Delivery of CP45FV NEO
ASK Technology, Experts in prototyping and high technology SMT production
recently took delivery of a CP45FV NEO Placement machine supplied by
DNA Automation Ltd.
Keeping ahead with the ever demanding and changing SMT components and what with them getting smaller and smaller all the time, ASK Technology turned to DNA Automation for advice and support regarding 0201 placement. Having already years of experience of these challenging component types ASK Technology needed a machine with a higher degree of accuracy & Flexibility.

AAP Order SMT Line and New EMS Flow Soldering Machine
AAP, one of the world's leading Alarm manufacturers, after years of outsourcing their products to their parent company decided to search for an ideal solution to bring production in house. With a limited budget for this project AAP approached DNA Automation for a Quality solution to their requirement. With the Samsung placement systems in mind, yet not wanting to buy an system where the history is unknown, DNA Automation put together a package of reconditioned machines at a reasonable price, allowing AAP to buy the new EMS Stallion 321 Lead free soldering machine. AAP will now be able to supply their products at a more competitive price and a faster turnaround for thier products to their customers on both mainland Australia & New Zealand.
NDC Order Fonton BGA Rework Machine
NDC Ltd. Resellers of computer equipment and peripherals, also specialise in the repair of today’s sophisticated modern laptops. NDC had been looking for a machine capable of reworking lead free BGA’s, QFPS’s, CPU sockets and many other difficult devices without causing too much stress to the fragile PCB. DNA Automation Ltd. with over 15 years of SMT rework experience suggested the Fonton BGA 936-USB. Unlike many other rework machines using direct IR heat, the Fonton BGA 936 uses hot air convection; this gives tight and accurate thermal control and consequently for the device, gives a very low deltaT, essential for Lead free rework. This was also the ideal solution for NDC. The direct overhead split prism view gives exact placement, as lead-free devices do not pull in to alignment because of the reduced surface tension in the solder. Compact, Accurate, Build Quality and Support were just some of the features NDC were looking for when making their selection for a rework machine. DNA Automation Ltd. offered not only the machine to suit the requirement of NDC but a whole support package and years of SMT rework knowledge. The use of hand tools for rework, were proving no longer suitable as the Laptop boards were becoming more densely populated and complex, so the need for both selective de-soldering and soldering of components was a real issue. The BGA-936USB was a cost effective and flexible solution for their precise needs
