The EMS Stallion321 is an rigid production machine. Designed specifically for lead free soldering and with the operators in mind the Stallion 321 is not only a simple machine to operate but also easy to maintain too. With two preheat zones, one being hot air convection the machine easily achieves a perfect lead free profile with little trouble at all. Longer than the Stallion 320, the 321 is capable of more complex boards and a faster throughput. Designed specially for the soldering of Luxeon Emitters, this machine can be adapted for any purpose.
Stage 1. Dispenses glue which helps transfer heat to the backplane the emitters are mounted on.
Stage 2. Dispenses flux onto each pad of the emitter
Stage 3. Picks the emitters from the feeders, aligns them using vision and places them using a dedicated nozzle.
Stage 4. The dedicated hot bar soldering head moves to each position and solders all diodes from the information supplied by the CAD data and library.
